Behind The Mask, in collaboration with several clothing designers, presents a selection of masks and costumes that express the edgy imagery of icons both readily recognizable and newly invented. From the raw erotic power of Hindu Kali and Celtic Phooka, to regal Lion and Frog Kings, whimsical Faeries and Furries, a bizarre March Hare and Cheshire Cat, a Nightmare Before Xmas Sally Spin-off, to a Goth-Industrial Zipperhead, these masks and costumes ignite the models with a mythic presence that lives both in the subconscious mind and on the fetish runway.Costume designers include Shane Maxwell, Suki’s Dareware, Royal Cherry Leathers, and David Reyen Silks as well at BTM's own in house design team.
